File Format: Please provide your artwork in a high-resolution PDF format. This ensures that your design retains its quality and details during the printing process.
Bleed & Safe Zone: Include a bleed of at least 0.125 inches (3.175 mm) on all sides of your design. This ensures that there are no unwanted white borders and that your design extends all the way to the edges of the finished card. Keep all critical elements, such as text and logos, within the safe zone, at least 0.125 inches (3.175 mm) from the trim line.
Color Mode: Set your artwork to include embedded Pantone Matching System (PMS) colors from the Uncoated series directly in your file. Letterpress printing relies on specific ink color formulations, and embedding PMS colors ensures accurate color reproduction. Avoid using CMYK color mode for letterpress designs.
Fonts: Embed or outline all fonts used in your artwork. This ensures that the correct typefaces are preserved during the printing process, regardless of whether or not the fonts are installed on our systems.
Image Resolution: Please note that vector artwork is preferred over raster images to achieve the best quality. But If your design must include raster images, please set the resolution to a minimum of 300 DPI (dots per inch) at the final print size. This ensures that the images appear sharp and clear in the printed cards.
Special Finishes: If you would like to add special finishes such as foiling, embossing, or debossing to specific areas of your design, please provide a separate file called a "mask file." The mask file should be in black and white, where black areas indicate where the finish should be applied, and white areas indicate where the finish should not be applied.
